On the 11th of February 2020, the General Assembly of the Giswater Association was held in which the positions of the Board of Directors were renewed, thus remaining for the period 2020-2025:
President: Braulio Moreno Moreno, manager at Serveis i Aigües de Barberà Empresa Municipal, S.A. (SABEMSA).
Vice President: David Serra i Masferrer, director of information systems at Aigües de Mataró.
Treasurer: Josep Lluís Sala, one of the managing partners of BGEO Open GIS, S.L.
Secretary: Marc Redorta Soldevila, with extensive experience in content writing and marketing strategies for business models based on free software.
Narcís Pi Dalfó, Vicente Medina and Jorge Labeaga García were chosen as members.
The action plan and budget for the current year were presented at the Assembly.
The Giswater Association, which was established in 2014 and currently comprises 23 members, individually and also with the representation of a total of 14 companies related to the management of the integral water cycle, in Spain and Brazil, such as:
Aigües de Mataró, ABM Serveis d’enginyeria i consulting SLU, BGEO Open GIS, SL, Civile SLP, CPS Engenharia, Serveis i Aigües de Barberà Empresa Municipal, SA, Figueres de Serveis, SA, Aigües de Vic, SA, Proveïments d’Aigua, SA, Aigües de Blanes, SA, Aigües de Banyoles, SAU, Consorci d’Aigües de Tarragona, Aigües de Girona and Aigües del Prat.
Throughout 2020 several events and workshops are planned where Giswater software will be the main protagonist.
