Three main themes were the common thread for the webinar “Gestión de las redes de agua potable y saneamiento con Giswater” on the 14th of May organized by the Giswater Association, in collaboration with the company BGEO Open GIS, S.L.
The online event, carried out through the Zoom platform, had the participation of about 60 people. Brauli Moreno, President of the Giswater Association, began the event with a short introduction on the current state of the Association and stressed the importance that water management companies should proceed collaboratively in the face of the current challenges.
Next, Xavier Torret and Josep Lluís Sala, founding members of the Association, explained, respectively, “Qué es Giswater? Giswater Association” and “Visión general de la herramienta” showed an overview about the tool functionalities.
The third and final topic “Uso práctico de Giswater para empresas gestoras de agua” was a practical demonstration carried out by Albert Bofill, responsible for the maintenance of the production versions of Giswater.
